By accessing or using Congo's platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services.
Congo provides an online marketplace connecting outdoor gear members with gear outfitters. We do not own or control the access equipment listed on our platform. We are not responsible for the condition, safety, or legality of items listed.
You must create an account to make bookings or list gear. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
All bookings are subject to outfitter availability and approval. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Congo collects a 15% platform fee on each completed transaction.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking are fully refunded. After 24 hours, refunds are subject to the individual outfitter's cancellation policy as stated in the listing.
Outfitters are responsible for accurately describing their gear, maintaining it in safe working condition, and honoring confirmed bookings. Failure to do so may result in removal from the platform.
Congo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any gear accessed through it. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific booking in dispute.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
